Before you write
- For a bug, the app version, your device and system version, and what you did just before it happened make the fix much faster.
- CloudShots also has a Report a Problem screen in Settings, which sends the description you type without leaving the app.
Keyboard shortcuts
The Mac app answers to these keys. The four global shortcuts show the App Store defaults; the direct download starts on ⌘ ⇧ 3, ⌘ ⇧ 4 and ⌘ ⇧ 5. In Settings each one can be any recorded shortcut: F1–F20 work alone, other keys need ⌘ or ⌃. Capture modes can be hidden there too. The direct download can also use ⌘ ⇧ 3, 4 and 5 once the macOS screenshot shortcuts are turned off in System Settings.
Anywhere
- ⌘ ⇧ 2: Show or hide the panel
- ⌘ ⇧ 7: Full Screen
- ⌘ ⇧ 8: Region
- ⌘ ⇧ 9: Capture Bar
- Off: Repeat Last Region
Capture overlay
- Space: Switch between Region and Window; hold while dragging to move the selection
- ↩: Capture the selection
- R: Capture the last region again
- 1 / 2 / 3: Region, Window or Full Screen, with the capture bar open
- esc: Cancel a capture or countdown
Panel
- ↑ / ↓: Move the selection up or down; they work as soon as the panel opens, starting from the newest
- Home / End: Jump to the oldest or newest loaded screenshot
- Space / ↩: Open Quick Look
- ⌘ A: Select all
- ⌘ C: Copy the image
- ⌘ E: Edit
- ⌘ ⇧ E: Export with Frame
- ⌘ P: Pin to Screen
- ⌫: Move the selected or marked screenshots to Trash
- esc: Clear the search or selection, then close the panel
Quick Look
- Space / esc: Close
- ↑ / ↓: Show the previous or next screenshot, keeping your marks

Purchases and refunds
App Store purchases, refunds, and subscription changes are handled by Apple, not by us. A Direct purchase on cloudshots.app (Mac only) is sold by whichever checkout provider processed it, under its own terms; request a refund from us at [email protected]; see our Refund Policy.
What happens to your message
The form delivers your name, email address, and message to our inbox and keeps no other copy. Your email address is used to reply to you and nothing else. See the Privacy Policy for how CloudShots handles the rest of your data.
